Conwy Landlord Questionnaire

The Council recognises that private landlords have an important role to play in housing people. There are 4505 registered landlords, who let over 10 000 homes in Conwy. We aim to help landlords keep costs and risks to a minimum; meet statutory minimum standards and have confidence managing tenancies as the law changes.

If you are the Landlord of a property in Conwy we would be grateful if you would spare 10 minutes to answer this short questionnaire. All answers will be anonymous.

This questionnaire has been complied by the Housing Strategy Team of Conwy County Borough Council. It is designed to help us to gain a better understanding of the private rented sector in Conwy, to help us plan our services.

The information provided will be processed by Conwy County Borough Council and is necessary to gather information to help develop services for private landlords and tenants in Conwy.

If personal information is provided, it will be stored and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). No third party recipients will be provided with personal data unless required by law. The Housing Strategy Team may also share anonymized data, for research purposes, with other agencies. Citizens also have the right to request a copy of their personal data held and to correct any inaccuracies.

Information will be retained by Conwy County Borough Council for no more than 1 year from the end of the consultation. If a citizen feels that Conwy County Borough Council has mishandled their personal data at any time they can make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office by visiting their website or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.
