The main contractor, Bowmer and Kirkland (B&K), have a contractual responsibility to work with the local community in delivering a Social Value Plan, which was developed as part of their commitment in constructing the new offices.
A range of initiatives have been proposed and include:
- Meet the Buyer events
- School visits
- Apprenticeship schemes
- Use of local trades/services/materials where possible
- Sponsorship initiatives
- Community engagement events
