The fire is out/under control, but the affected area has "hot spots" that can smoulder for some time afterwards.
Members of the public should contact North Wales Fire and Rescue Service if they see visible flames or if smoke becomes excessive or overwhelming in their area.

All road and footpath closures have now been lifted; however, this may change. Conditions underfoot can be unstable, trees may be weakened, and Scottish Power are continuing work in the area to review the power infrastructure. It may be necessary to restrict access for safety reasons.
Please check before travelling to or walking in affected areas.
For the most up to date information on access to the area, please see our website.

Thank you, the community response has been amazing. The most helpful things right now are to avoid the affected areas and to report any smoke or flames by calling 999.

Many grass fires and wildfires are preventable. We urge the public to:
- Avoid lighting fires in open spaces, including disposable barbecues.
- Never leave barbecues unattended and keep them away from grassland, hedgerows, fences and trees.
- Dispose of cigarettes and smoking materials responsibly.
- Report signs of fire immediately by calling 999.
- Parents and carers: please talk to young people about the consequences of deliberate fire-setting. It destroys wildlife, endangers lives and diverts fire crews from other emergencies.

If wildfire smoke is affecting your area, stay indoors where possible and keep windows and doors closed.
Once the smoke has cleared and it is safe to do so, open windows and doors to help cool your home and improve ventilation.
During hot weather, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed when it is hotter outside than indoors. Please, remember to keep hydrated and check in on your family, friends and neighbours.
Anyone with symptoms linked to the smoke, or hot weather, or if you have ongoing health concerns, please seek medical advice.
