Explore the library

Visiting somewhere new is easier when you know what to expect. Our 360-degree virtual tour lets you explore Colwyn Bay Library before you visit, helping you become familiar with the building, facilities and services at your own pace.

You can move around the library virtually and select information points to watch short videos explaining what you will find and how different parts of the library work.

Tips for navigating the tour:

  • Select the circles on the floor to move through the library. On a computer, you can also use your mouse or arrow keys.
  • Camera icons identify locations where additional information is available. Videos are available in Cymraeg (red), English (blue) and British Sign Language (yellow). If you hover over a camera icon a small window will appear showing you the title and language.

The short films cover:

  • Getting here by bus: If you’re planning on using public transport to visit the library, a video will show you the nearest stops and tell you the best number bus to take.
  • Main entrance and foyer: see exactly where you will walk in.
  • Library desk: Spot our friendly staff stations so you know exactly where to go if you have a question.
  • The self-service machine: See where the self-service machine is located and how you can borrow or return items independently.
  • Computers and seating areas: Explore the public computers, study spaces and seating available within the library.
  • Lift: Find out how to access the first floor using the lift.
  • Toilets: Locate these essential facilities ahead of time.
