Conwy’s Youth Workers attend informative national conference.

On Wednesday 4th March 2026, the Conwy Youth, Engagement and Belonging team were proud to support the Youth Sector Principal Officers (Wales) Youth Endowment Fund Conference and Workshop at Conwy Business Centre. The Youth Endowment Fund focuses on violence prevention.

The event brought together professionals from across Wales to explore the Youth Endowment Fund’s vision and strategy, with valuable insights into the Youth Endowment Fund’s Violence Prevention Toolkit and how it works. Attendees were fortunate to be joined by Caleb Jackson, Head of Change for Youth and Dr. Laura Knight, Head of Toolkit, who led engaging sessions and workshops.

In the afternoon, Sangeet Bhullar, Executive Director of Wise Kids, delivered an excellent insight gathering workshop that focused on developing online extremism awareness resources in partnership with professionals.

A brilliant day of collaboration, learning, and shared commitment to improving outcomes for young people across Wales including a vision of a world where no child experiences violence.
