One week left to register to vote

On Thursday 2 May voters in Conwy County Borough will go to the polls for Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday 16 April.

With only one week to go until the deadline to register to vote, Conwy County Borough Council is urging residents to make sure they are registered in time.

Rhun ap Gareth, Local Returning Officer for Conwy Voting Area said: “With only one week to go, time is running out to make sure you can take part in the elections on Thursday 2 May.

“These elections are your opportunity to have a say on who represents the public and sets the priorities for policing in North Wales.

“But if you’re not registered by 16 April, you won’t be able to vote.”

Register to vote online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or phone Conwy’s Election Helpline on 01492 575570.

It only takes a few minutes, you just need your National Insurance number.
