If you're planning to watch the action on the Great Orme, please be aware of the following road closures and travel information:
Great Orme Summit Car Park: The Summit Car Park will close to vehicles from 8pm on Thursday 20 August in preparation for the event.
Marine Drive Road Closure: Marine Drive will be closed to all vehicles from 8am on Friday 21 August.
The Great Orme Tramway will operate as normal until approximately 1pm, shortly before the arrival of the race. Services will then be temporarily suspended while the race takes place and are expected to resume approximately two hours later, subject to race conditions.
Getting to the Great Orme
Visitors can continue to access the Great Orme before the road closures take effect. After road restrictions are in place, access to the summit will be available by:
- Walking
- Great Orme Tramway (while services are running)
Please allow extra time for your journey and plan ahead to avoid disruption.
