The Festival has welcomed choirs from all over the world to this wonderful celebration of music. Based at Venue Cymru, the North Wales Choral Festival offers a variety of competition categories across the weekend.
Organised by Conwy County Borough Council, the competition has grown from strength to strength and is now a celebration of music. Considered one of the top choral festivals in Wales and renowned for its friendly atmosphere, this is a weekend suited for any chorister.
North Wales Choral Festival tickets now on sale
Llandudno’s annual North Wales Choral Festival returns to Venue Cymru 9-10 November 2019 for a jam packed weekend that any choral lover will not want to miss.
The festival has had a huge amount of interest over the years with choirs travelling from near and far to be with us.
Friday evening starts the weekend with local choir Côr Meibion Maelgwn Male Voice Choir entertaining all with a variety of musical genres in both Welsh and English. Along with Welsh National Opera soprano Fflur Wyn who’s quickly establishing herself as one of the country’s foremost singers on the operatic and concert platform. A fantastic atmosphere is guaranteed, get your tickets now at £17 per adult and £8.50 per child.
Saturday will kick start the weekend bringing you three competitions starting from 10am; Male Voice, Youth, and Just for Fun. Where it will be up to our three adjudicators, David King, Nia Morgan and Trevor Hughes to decide on first, second and third.
The Festival Celebration Concert will take place Saturday evening at 8pm, offering a wonderful variety of choirs to enjoy themselves on stage without worrying about the watchful eye of the adjudicators!
On Sunday it’s time for some more competitions starting from 11:15am; Ladies, Barbershop, and new for this year the Musicals category. Another busy day of competitions with choirs travelling from all over the UK and Ireland.

Day passes are available for both days of the competitions, £16 for adults and £8 for children, per day, inclusive of booking fee. However, if you just have your eye on one category tickets are £8 for adults and £4 per for children, per category, inclusive of booking fee.
Tickets are also available for our Festival Celebration Concert priced at £15 for adults and £7.50 for children, inclusive of booking fee.
