Kerbcraft is taught to Year 1 pupils at all schools in the County Borough.

This is a Welsh Government funded scheme that teaches children how to be safer pedestrians by teaching three different skills:

  • finding a safe place to cross
  • crossing by parked cars
  • crossing near junctions

The training is done over 12 weeks, spread over the school year.
