Do I need this licence and am I eligible?

If you operate a cooling tower or evaporative condenser notification must be made in writing on a form approved by the Health & Safety Executive.

What you must do:

You must notify the local authority of any changes to the notification information within one month of the change, in writing.

If the device ceases to be a notifiable device you must notify the local authority council in writing as soon as possible.

What we must do:

On receipt of the completed notification the Authority will place the details on the Statutory Register. A copy of the application will also be provided to the Health and Safety Executive as required.
