Like all councils in Wales, Conwy County Borough Council is facing ongoing financial pressures and needs to make savings to set a balanced budget for 2026–2027. Rising costs of goods and services mean we are starting with a £20.4 million gap before any funding is applied.
We are committed to working together to find solutions. Our priority is to use every pound as effectively as possible to protect the services that matter most to our communities. While this may mean some changes to how services are delivered, we will do everything we can to minimise the impact and keep you informed every step of the way.
