Highways Act 1980 - Section 26 Notice of making an Order

The County Borough of Conwy (Public Footpath No 7a Eglwysbach) (Public Path Creation) Order 2024

The above Order made on 25 January  2024 by the Conwy County Borough Council under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 will create a length of Public Footpath in the Community of Eglwysbach, to be known as Footpath 7a Eglwysbach commencing at the stile from footpath 7 at the top of a disused quarry at grid reference SH 80871 70697 and proceeding in an easterly direction for approximately 30m then descending in a southerly direction on the eastern side of a disused quarry for approximately 90m to a stile and terminating at the junction with Gyffylog Road at grid reference SH 80935 70605. The length of the path is  approximately 120m and the width is 2m.

A copy of the Order and map may be viewed on the Council website and  at the Council Offices Coed Pella Colwyn Bay, during normal opening/office hours. Any representation about or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to the legal@conwy.gov.uk   not later than 1 March 2024.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Conwy County Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.  If the Order is sent to the Welsh Ministers for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
