Every community has the opportunity to develop their own Place Plan. Place plans are done by communities for communities. When Place Plans are adopted by the Council they can be used in making decisions on planning applications.
They can focus on a town or community council area, a single village or a group of villages.
Towyn and Kinmel Bay became the first community to have their Place Plan adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance by the Council on 22 August 2023.
