- Understand what constitutes effective supervision in social work.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the importance of an effective agreement within supervision and using this to support professional development.
- Understand how past experience of supervision can impact on supervisory relationship.
- Recognise how anxiety and emotions can impact on effective decision making and critical thinking.
- Understand the use of supervision to promote resilience when working with complex issues.
- Recognise how supervision can support reflection and improve outcomes for service users.
- Understand how supervision can support effective professional partnership working.
- Overview of Resilience and Emotional Intelligence.
