Conwy County Borough Council is delighted to feature in the Careers in 360 platform - helping to attract, develop, and retain talent within the Welsh public sector.

The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) launched the WLGA Public Sector doorway within the Careers in 360 platform earlier this year.

Conwy features alongside the other Welsh Councils showcasing the variety of careers available in local government.

The Careers in 360 platform provides an interactive gateway into local government careers.

Designed for a digital-first generation, the platform allows users to navigate clear career pathways, explore apprenticeship schemes, and engage with live vacancies through a 24/7 virtual environment.

Cllr Hannah Fleet, Cabinet Member for Human Resources said: “Councils are responsible for so many services that affect everyday life, and as a result there’s such a wide range of opportunities and careers that many people aren’t aware of.  Careers in 360 provides an opportunity for young people to browse these opportunities and offers an insight into potential career paths.”

Careers in 360 aims to bridge the gap between local authorities and the 350,000+ learners across Wales, ensuring that the next generation of talent can "see themselves" in a public sector career.
