Colwyn Bay Market Returns

Station Road, Colwyn Bay
Colwyn Bay Street Market is set to return in 2026. Located on Station Road and Seaview Road, the initial launch will include special seasonal events as part of the “Colwyn Bay Christmas Collective” - a programme designed to showcase local talent and celebrate the festive season.
The first event, ‘Light Switch On,’ takes place on 28th November from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, featuring a Lantern Parade starting at 6:00 PM.
Conwy County Borough Council awarded the contract to manage the street market to Together for Colwyn Bay Limited with the regular weekly outdoor market expected to start in March 2026.
The aim is to bring local makers, food vendors, artisans and community-led activities back to the heart of Colwyn Bay.
Cllr Sharon Doleman, Conwy’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development said: “For many years, the market played a vital role in Colwyn Bay’s economy. It has benefitted local residents and attracted visitors from further afield. I am excited to see its relaunch alongside the new initiatives, which promise a vibrant and diverse offering to attract shoppers and deliver tangible benefits to Colwyn Bay. I wish Together for Colwyn Bay Limited every success.”
Kai Davies, Director of Operations at Together for Colwyn Bay, added: “I’m really excited to bring the market back Colwyn Bay. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses, and for our community to come together.
“The market and seasonal events will breathe new life into the area. We’re committed to making Colwyn Bay a destination that celebrates local talent and fosters community spirit.”
The weekly market will officially launch in March 2026 and will have regular days planned throughout the year. In addition to the weekly market, there will be special themed events, including Artisan and Farmers Markets.
