Conwy Youth, Engagement and Belonging Service Recognised in Europe-Wide FEANTSA Good Practice Guide

FEANTSA (the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless)
Conwy County Borough Council’s Youth, Engagement and Belonging Service has been ranked in the Top 11 of the FEANTSA Good Practice Guide for its excellence in integrating youth work into services that support young people experiencing homelessness.
FEANTSA (the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless) brings together organisations from across Europe to influence policy, deliver essential services, and collaborate to end homelessness. The federation promotes research, supports the exchange of best practice among member organisations, and works with governments to develop effective strategies to prevent and address homelessness.
Being recognised in the FEANTSA Good Practice Guide reflects the innovative and effective approach taken by Conwy’s team and their contribution to Europe‑wide learning in homelessness prevention and youth support.
Cyng Aaron Wynne, Conwy’s Cabinet Member for Education, said: “For Conwy to be recognised at a European level is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the creativity, commitment and collaboration across the whole team who work tirelessly to support and empower young people across our county.
"We’re proud to contribute to a Europe-wide effort to improve support for young people at risk of homelessness.”
