Have your say on the future of Queens Gardens in Colwyn Bay

Queens Gardens
Queens Gardens in Colwyn Bay is one of several formal parks in Conwy maintained by Conwy County Borough Council. Local Places for Nature (LPfN) are developing a flagship project to demonstrate how historic Victorian parks can be adapted to meet future challenges while keeping their heritage value.
Drop in events:
6 November, 9:30am – 1pm: Queens Gardens, Colwyn Bay
6 November, 2pm - 4:30pm: Colwyn Bay Library, Woodland Road West, LL29 7DH
7 November, 9:30am – 1pm – Bay View Shopping Center, Sea View Road, Colwyn Bay, LL29 8DG
During the project, LPfN want to understand how local people use the gardens and what they would like to see in the future. The feedback will help to shape the improvement plans proposals.
The proposals will be publicised and consulted on to make sure the final masterplan reflects what the local community wants, as well as delivering biodiversity improvements and supporting sustainable long-term management.
The consultation will run from 4 November to 2 December.
