The Houses into Homes scheme offers loans to renovate, improve and convert empty properties for use as residential accommodation. Eligible properties can receive a loan of up to £25,000 per unit of accommodation, with a maximum loan of £150,000 available per applicant.
Applications can be made by owners, companies or third sector organisations and are also available to convert non-residential properties into residential accommodation. To be eligible properties must have been empty for 6 months or more and must be sold or let on completion of the works.
