Summary (optional) If the birth occurred in the County of Conwy, you can purchase a copy of the birth certificate from the Llandudno Register Office.

If the birth was registered elsewhere, contact the Register Office in the district where the person was born

There are two types of Birth Certificates:

Birth Certificate (Full)

Information on the certificate:   Required for:
Name of the district where the birth took place, date and place of birth, name, sex, parents names, place of birth, address and occupation. Applying for UK passport.


Birth Certificate (Short):

Information on the certificateRequired for
Name, sex, date of birth and district of birth Applying for child benefit.
