Contact Building Control

The Building Regulations and the associated approved documents set out minimum standards for construction and provide guidance in order to comply with these standards.

We ensure these standards are met by approving plans, specifications and calculations together with inspection of the construction work on site. The Building Control section can also provide information, guidance and advice on a range of construction issues.

Please note that you may also need to apply for Planning Permission for any development / change of use you may be undertaking. Further information is available from Planning Services.
