Stage 1 - Review Report


Summary (optional)
The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires Local Planning Authorities to review their Local Development Plans (LDP) regularly. A formal review must take place every four years. The Conwy Local Development Plan was adopted in 2013 and the Review has commenced in 2017.

The Review Report is the outcome of LDP performance and evidence as drawn from previously produced Annual Monitoring Reports and evidence base.

The LDP Review Report highlights the need for a replacement Local Development Plan to be prepared for the period 2022 onwards. Following consultation on this Review Report, the next preparation stage is to prepare and consult on a Delivery Agreement for the replacement Conwy LDP.
