Community Regeneration Key Fund Launched

The UKSPF Conwy Community Regeneration Key Fund is now open and applications are invited from community focused organisations.

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking applications from community focused organisations who want to deliver projects across Conwy that will address local needs and will contribute to building Pride in Place and make a visible difference.

There are two elements to the Key Fund:

  • A fund for Town and Community Council small projects that will make a visible difference in the local area.
  • A competitive grant fund for projects between £10,000 and £249,999 (with any smaller projects assessed on a case-by-case basis).

In total, there’s £3million to allocate. The deadline for applications is 5pm on 22 September 2023.

Cllr Charlie McCoubrey, Leader Conwy County Borough Council said: “I’m delighted that the key fund is now open for applications for smaller projects. It will enable funding to be distributed across the county to ensure local communities will benefit from UKSPF.”

“And by allocating a dedicated amount from the overall key fund specifically for Town and Community Councils, we can ensure each area of the county can benefit from the funding.”

“This is an open call for projects in Conwy county, and I urge community focused organisations to submit their applications as soon as possible.”

Full guidance and access to the application portal is available at: Community Regeneration Key Fund - Conwy County Borough Council
