Green Gele planting starts this week
Contractors will start work this week on extra planting at Gele Park and Pentre Mawr park in Abergele.
The Green Gele Project, part of the Abergele Place Plan, is focusing on improving the quality and access to green space in the Abergele community.
Once the planting of trees, hedgerows and flowers has been completed, work to create a community event space in Pentre Mawr and to improve paths in Gele Park will take place soon after.
The Green Gele Project is supported by the Enabling Natural Resources and Well-being Scheme (ENRaW) and Section 106 funding.
Conwy County Borough Council is working with Abergele Town Council to deliver the Abergele Place Plan.
