UPDATE: Rhos on Sea Coastal Defences and Promenade

• The pedestrian walkway is fully open along the seaside railings.
• All beach access points are open.
• Gym equipment is being installed along Cayley Promenade – it’s been specially chosen for older people to exercise joints and gently exert heart and muscles, but can used by all.
• Our contractors are continuing with paving and block work.
• Furniture including benches and picnic tables are on site ready to be installed.
• The final job will be road surfacing, which requires dry weather.

The promenade will be opening in sections as soon as they are ready. The next areas to open will be the gym equipment on Cayley Promenade this week, followed by seating areas next to the pedestrian walkway on the lower promenade, which will include benches, loungers and covered seats.

We are aiming to have as much of the work completed as possible before the school summer holidays. Thank you for your patience.
