I’ve submitted my claim, how long will it take for payment to be received?

Due to the very high volume of online forms submitted the rates team are working very hard to process claims as quickly as possible. Once you’ve submitted your online form, the rates team will review whether you are eligible.  We would appreciate it if you don't contact the rates team by phone to enable them to deal with your information. We understand the major challenges being faced by businesses in Conwy. We are working as hard as we can to ensure you get the support you need and we will make your payment as soon as possible.

I have submitted a claim, but didn’t get an email / electronic acknowledgment

If you have the application reference number (starts NN) this validates your online form is in the system. Should any further information or clarification be required the rates team will contact you when they are processing you claim. If you did not get an acknowledgement email with a reference number – try submitting your Business Rates reference number again. If the system won’t allow this as rates reference number has already been used this means the online form has gone through and the most likely reason for no acknowledgement is an error in the contact email details entered.

I have submitted the form, but have made an error / uploaded the wrong document

Please email businessrategrants@conwy.gov.uk advising/enclosing the correct information.

Your reference number from the grant submission should be in the subject (Starts with NDR).

I want to speak to someone to check that the application I have submitted is correct or has been received

Due to the very high demand for the business rates grant the rates team are not able to take calls. We would ask that you bear with us; If you have the reference number (starts NN) this validates your submission is in the system. Should any further information or clarification be required the rates team will contact you when they are processing you claim.

I do not have access to my rates bill or my rates reference number

Please note that if you are unable to access your business rate demand notice please email nndr.enquiries@conwy.gov.uk with your full details including your phone number. A duplicate business rate demand will then be issued to you accordingly.

Your enquiry will be dealt with as soon as possible but due to the number of enquiries currently being dealt with we would ask for your patience.
