Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976
Notice is hereby given that, under Section 65 of the above Act, the Council intends to vary the Hackney Carriage (Taxi) Table of Fares in accordance with the following schedule:
Maximum Charge varied to
For the first mile and if the distance does not exceed one mile: £4.00
For each subequent 1/10th mile or uncompleted part thereof: £0.35
A copy of this notice is available for inspection during normal office hours on the public notice boards at the Town Hall, Llandudno; and Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay and online at www.conwy.gov.uk
Any objections to the proposed variation should be made in writing to the undersigned.
Should no written objections be received by the undersigned by the 24th of April 2023, or if objections made by this date are withdrawn, the new charges shall come into operation on 25th of April 2023.
Otherwise, the Council shall fix a date not later than two months after 24th of April 2023 in which the variation shall take effect, with or without change, after considering objections
