This Public Participation Strategy sets out how Conwy County Borough Council wants to make sure the people who live in, work in and visit Conwy County are informed, included and listened to in the delivery of Council services, making lives better for our communities.

The Council has a legal duty to encourage people to participate in what it does, providing continual opportunities for people to have a say and input into how decisions are made and how services are delivered under the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021.

This strategy explains how the public can participate in decisions, along with our objectives and principles for delivering an effective and coordinated approach to public participation, including how we will monitor and achieve these.

We look forward to working with you in delivering this strategy, making decisions and delivering services that the people of Conwy need and value.
