It helps people who want to work but need extra support due to:
- Health conditions
- Disabilities
- Neurodivergence
- Mental health needs
- Complex life barriers
Connect to Work supports you with free, tailored support to help you move towards work:
- Help to grow your skills, confidence and motivation
- Support that fits your situation at every step of the way and at your own pace
- Help you find roles that fit your skills and interests, with employers who understand your needs
- Support to prepare you for interviews and starting work
- Continued regular check-ins while you work
Support is available for people who are:
- Out of work, aged 16+ and want to find employment
- Already in work but at risk of losing their job
- Not currently on any other DWP funded programme
Health and clinical teams
Our employment specialists work alongside health and clinical teams to identify people who could benefit from employment support. This helps make employment part of a person’s wider health, wellbeing and recovery journey.
Supporting employers
Connect to Work helps businesses recruit and retain employees with confidence, providing:
- Access to motivated and supported candidates
- Job matching based on a candidate’s skills, interests and abilities
- Support to shape roles that work for both the candidate and the business
- Ongoing support to help employees thrive, including job coaching, training and workplace reviews
- This helps businesses reduce recruitment risk and save time, while supporting them to build inclusive, skilled and sustainable teams.
