Conwy Employment Hub runs the following Welsh Government funded programme:
Communities for Work Plus is a voluntary Welsh Government funded employability programme. If you are unemployed or facing redundancy we provide intensive mentoring support to help people over the age of 16 to develop their confidence and their skills as well as to find and maintain employment.

The Hub has been successful in securing funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to run the following programmes:
The Hub is working in partnership with Crest to run the Assisted Community Employment programme (ACE), a 12 week paid placement across a range of sectors including retail, driving and refurbishment. In addition to the work experience, participants also receive 1-to-1 and group employability and job searching support and training.
The Confidently You programme focuses on reducing social isolation; building resilience; increasing confidence and self-esteem; developing soft practical, financial, digital and employability skills while improving physical and mental health.
The Young People's Employability Project focuses on helping and supporting 16 to 19 year olds to develop lifelong skills while providing a clear path to employment.
The Hub has been successful in drawing down funding from Conwy’s Housing Support Grant to pilot a dedicated Homeless Employment Mentor. The mentor strengthens the Hub’s focus on supporting unemployed people with a range of housing issues.
A schedule of training courses and pathways which offer a blend of training on soft skills and employability, certificated sector-based qualifications and hands-on work experience, as well as ad-hoc training courses that sit within an individual‘s development needs.

The Hub works with and promotes the Progress Project which is core funded by the Conwy Youth Service.
The Progress Project is a programme for young people aged 16 to 24 who are at risk of being Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET), and while it is similar to the Welsh Government’s Communities for Work Plus programme, it is for the young people that are most hard to reach to provide them with the best possible guidance, care and help to build a better future whatever they are facing.
