RELM Construction specialises in the planned and reactive maintenance sector, as well as catering for commercial refurbishment schemes and they praised Tom for his “positive attitude” and “eagerness to learn”.  Tom commented:  “for my placement to turn into a full-time job with RELM Construction is brilliant, and I am enjoying the day-to-day experience, learning new skills all the time and looking forward to the future.”

Kickstart Scheme

The Kickstart Scheme provided funding to create new jobs for people who are at risk of long term unemployment. It provided invaluable work experience with training which had the potential to lead to full time employment. We were tasked by Conwy County Borough Council to work collaboratively to fill its 27 Kickstart positions ranging from Box Office Support to Family Centre Team Assistant and Trainee Boat Operative to Benefits/Financial Assessment Trainee.
