The image below provides a snapshot of what we do at Conwy County Borough Council in a day, week, month and year. Most of Conwy’s services affect the daily lives of local people in a major way. The collection of household rubbish, the schools children go to, the leisure centres people use to keep fit, the care of those who are disadvantaged, the hygiene standards in the local restaurants, the range of reference materials in the local library – all of these things are the Council’s responsibility, plus many more. These are our front line services, delivering to the local community and making a difference in people’s lives.

We also have a range of support services working to ensure our employees get paid, we have the technology to carry out our work, ensure we work safely, that we work within the law and we are accountable for what we do. i.e. Payroll, HR, IT, Legal, and Health & Safety.

To find out more about each of our service areas and what they do click the service name listed under ‘in this section’.
