The Community Wellbeing Team provide advice and information to older people living in Conwy, offering support and opportunities to those who would like to improve their health and wellbeing.

There are a number of activities which take place across Conwy, all of which aim to support the 5 Ways to Wellbeing approach:

  • Be Active Taking part in physical activity and moving your body
  • Connect Meeting new people, attending new activities and getting involved
  • Give Sharing your skills or contributing your knowledge or time
  • Keep Learning Trying something new or learning a new skill
  • Take Notice Taking time to reflect and appreciate. Recognising you’re own and others' talents

Please see our current programmes below for details on all of the groups and activities we offer, including:

  • Walking groups
  • Dance classes
  • Luncheon clubs and games cafes
  • Singing and music-making sessions
  • Health and fitness classes
  • Cultural activities such as arts and craft
  • Reminiscence sessions
  • Targeted workshops focusing on issues such as dementia, pain management, diet and nutrition
