Essential Website Maintenance – Thursday 9th January 2020

We will be carrying out essential website maintenance in the afternoon which will affect some functionality. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience the work may cause and will do all we can to keep disruption to an absolute minimum.

Craig y Don Paddling Pool

Summary (optional)
Conwy’s Paddling Pools will be closed during the 2020 season due to COVID-19. We have taken this difficult decision in the interest of keeping everyone safe. In Wales social distancing is currently still at 2 meters and only supervised outdoor sessions up to 30 people are allowed to take place. We look forward to welcoming back all our visitors to the paddling pools next season.
start content

This is one of the largest outdoor paddling pools in Wales, measuring 116m – 21m with a maximum depth of 2ft / 0.6m, and is a very popular attraction for the area during the summer season.

Facilities on site include the 'Pool Café' offering beverages, snacks and ice creams while selling various children's soft toys. Picnic tables and bench seating are available for your convenience along with public toilets. A children's park is also available nearby which is secured by perimeter fencing.

Free parking is limited on the promenade and surrounding areas so get there early to avoid disappointment. The local bus service passes through the site at regular intervals with a short walking distance from each stop.
