Carers' Week is an opportunity to celebrate the year-round contributions made by Conwy’s unpaid carers and ensure they can access the support they need to undertake their role.
Conwy Carers Team information stall
Visit us at Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay between 11:30am and 1:30pm on 10 and 11 June to chat with the Conwy Carers Team and find out what support is available to unpaid carers.
If you can’t make it, visit our carers web pages for information about the teams and organisations that can help individuals in their caring role.
Caring for You workshop
Take some time out from your caring role to relax, recharge and reconnect with yourself in a calm and welcoming space. The Caring for You workshop is open to unpaid carers living in Conwy and takes place on Monday 8 June 2026 from 2pm until 3:30pm at Llanrhos Old School.
Contact the Community Wellbeing Team on 01492 577449 or at stayingwell@conwy.gov.uk to book a place.
Help for parent carers
Parent carers provide care that goes beyond usual day-to-day parenting for their child. Our parent carer web page can direct them to sources of support.
Local drop-in sessions
Carers Outreach hold regular drop-in sessions across the region to provide advice and support.
Online sessions
Carers Wales holds online Me Time sessions several times a month, providing practical advice on carers’ rights and the caring role, wellbeing sessions, book clubs, crafts and more.
Support for young carers
If you support a young carer under the age of 14 or a young adult carer under the age of 25, WCD Young Carers organise support groups and activities and can connect them with other young carers who are in similar situations.
If you are already registered with Credu as a Young Carer family, you can book a free day pass to Erddig National Trust on Saturday 13 June 2026.
