Rate Relief (E)

Mandatory and Discretionary Rate Relief

Conwy County Borough Council is reminding charitable organisations to apply for Mandatory and Discretionary Rate Relief.

Charitable Rate Relief is reviewed every three years, and the current period comes to an end on 31 March 2026.

Registered charities that occupy premises, along with Community Amateur Sports Clubs and sporting and social organisations could be eligible. They are being urged to make their applications for the Relief as soon as possible to avoid delays and the potential non-allocation of Rate Relief to their accounts for 2026/2029.

Further information, guidance and how to apply can be found on the Council’s website: Mandatory and Discretionary Rate Relief - Conwy County Borough Council
