Notice of intention to apply to stop up parts of the highway at Tre Cwm, Llandudno


NOTICE is given that Conwy County Borough Council as Highway Authority for the County Borough of Conwy intends to apply to Llandudno Magistrates’ Court sitting at The Court House, Conway Road, Llandudno, Conwy LL30 1GA on 23 May 2023 at 10:00a.m. for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping up of the areas of  highway being  parcels of land at Tre Cwm, Llandudno, shown coloured red on plan L/1/17/21/31A on the ground that the highway is unnecessary.  The effect of the Order will be to extinguish all public rights of way over the said land.

A copy of the proposed Order and plan may be viewed at Llandudno Library, Council Offices Coed Pella Colwyn Bay and on the Council website.  Requests for paper copy documents can be made by contacting 01492 575337.

Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highways specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make a representation on the application.  Any person intending to appear before the Magistrates' Court at the hearing of the application is requested to inform Melissa Ross, Solicitor, at Bodlondeb, Conwy LL32 8DU before 23 May 2023 quoting reference CCBC - 040476.
