The Community Inclusion and Resettlement Team supports people who have arrived in Conwy through UK Government and Welsh Government resettlement and sanctuary schemes.
We work with individuals, families, hosts, sponsors, landlords, partner organisations and local communities to help people settle safely and successfully within Conwy.
Our support includes:
- Housing and accommodation support
- Welfare and benefits advice
- Access to healthcare services
- Education and school admissions
- Employment and training support
- English language learning (ESOL)
- Community integration activities
- Ongoing casework and practical support
We work with people arriving through:
- Homes for Ukraine (HFU)
- Ukraine Resettlement Scheme
- Ukraine Permission Extension Scheme (UPE)
- Afghan Resettlement Programme (ARP)
- UK Resettlement Scheme (UKRS)
- Asylum and Sanctuary Support Services

Conwy welcomes people seeking sanctuary and is committed to helping individuals and families rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive community.
