The code club website has a curriculum and handouts to enable a volunteer to run a course of classes teaching children to write code using Scratch, Python, HTML & CSS. Booking is essential by contacting Conwy library. For more information visit www.codeclub.org.uk

Story Sacks

Borrow Story sacks (sack contents include story books, games and toys) for young children. Each sack is based around a picture book, with props and characters from the story to make storytelling fun. The main collection is held in Llandudno Library but story sacks can be requested for loan from any of our libraries.

Bag Books

Bag Books are story packs containing multi-sensory items for use by adults with children who have learning disabilities. The collection is held in Llandudno library, but they are available to order through any Conwy County library.

Bookstart Book Crawl

Children under 4 years can pick up a free Book Crawl collector card and collect stickers as they borrow books. After collecting four stickers you’ll receive a colourful certificate designed by a children's book illustrator. The more books you borrow the more certificates you get!

Bookstart

New born babies and their parents will receive a free 0-12 months Bookstart pack from their health visitor. A second pack for toddlers is gifted at 18-30 months. Each pack contains 2 books, a magazine, and information on how to join the library. Inspire a love of books and reading with your child, to give them a flying start in life!
