The Council invited people to submit land for us to consider including in Conwy's Replacement Local Development Plan 2018 – 2033 (RLDP). We were looking for candidate sites for a range of uses such as housing, employment, retail and leisure.
The Council is no longer accepting candidate sites.
We received a total of 175 sites, mostly for residential use. Every candidate site we received is listed in the Candidate Site Register. The fact that a candidate site is included in the register does not mean it will be included in the next Local Development Plan.

We have received a few sites for consideration since the public consultation on the Preferred Strategy.
We have added them to the candidate sites map and will assess them for suitability in line with Welsh Government’s guidance.
You will have the chance to comment on these new sites when we publish the Deposit Local Development Plan for consultation (See Local Development Plan timetable in the Delivery Agreement for consultation date.)
