We often support individuals around money and financial matters and the way in which we offer guidance has a huge bearing on whether that advice is followed.

This session is aimed at those working with vulnerable individuals & families and will help us with the following:

Learning Objectives

  • Think about the ways in which we would like to influence behaviour around money
  • Develop an understanding of ‘what makes people tick’ when they are thinking about money
  • Be able to account for the effects of vulnerability and scarcity of resources on an individual’s money management skills
  • Understand the 4 important principles for effectively delivering messages
  • Commit to an achievable personal action plan
