Your purple bag for clothing is collected from the kerbside every fortnight. Items are resold by Crest Cooperative.

Yes please:

  • Children’s clothes
  • Adults’ clothing
  • Shoes in pairs
  • Handbags
  • Belts

No thanks:

  • Wet or dirty items
  • Stained or ripped clothes
  • Socks, knickers or tights
  • Bedding (such as sheets, pillows or blankets)
  • Towels
  • Curtains
  • Helmets or car seats
  • Bric-a-brac


Remember you can take items to the Recycling Centres in Mochdre and Abergele

No Christmas Collection

Clothing is not collected in Christmas week or New Year week. If you need to get rid of clothing during this period you should take them to a Household Recycling Centre. Collections re-start in the second week of January. Please refer to your collection calendar or check your collection day for more information.
