Use the pink bag to recycle all small electrical items, including broken appliances. If it's got a plug or a battery and fits in the bag, we'll take it.

If you live in a rural area, please call Crest on 01492 596783 to book your collection.


Your pink bag for small electricals is collected from the kerbside every fortnight. Items are repaired and reused by Crest Cooperative.

Yes please:

  • MP3, CD and DVD players
  • Electronic toys
  • Mobile phones
  • Laptops
  • Game consoles
  • Toasters, kettles, irons
  • Radios
  • Shavers
  • Electric toothbrushes and hairdryers
  • Power tools
  • Vapes - if possible, remove the battery and put it in your battery recycling bag

No thanks:

  • Batteries are collected weekly from your small white battery recycling bag
  • Large electrical appliances such as televisions, fridges or washing machines will not be picked up as part of this service


Please take large items to the Recycling Centres in Mochdre and Abergele or call Conwy County Borough Council on 01492 575337 to book a bulky waste collection

No Christmas Collection

Electricals are not collected in Christmas week or New Year week. If you need to get rid of electrical items during this period you should take them to a Household Recycling Centre. Collections re-start in the second week of January. Please refer to your collection calendar or check your collection day for more information.
