December 2022 update

Conwy County Borough Council welcomes the UK Government’s announcement on 05 December 2022 that the North Wales Regional Investment plan for the Shared Prosperity Fund has been approved. To read the UK Government announcement in full please go to:

Details of how the UKSPF will be delivered are still to be determined. Therefore Conwy County Borough Council, in line with its neighbouring North Wales local authorities, will only be able to progress the application process once the required details and funding agreements have been received and considered.

We currently anticipate that implementation of the UKSPF across North Wales will begin in early 2023

We remain committed to giving organisations an opportunity to bid for a share of the funds and we’ll be working to help local communities and businesses access UKSPF support.

We’ll be updating this page regularly as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, all the information published by the UK Government on the UKSPF, including what the funds can be used for and the outputs and outcomes projects will need to deliver is available from:

November 2022 update

Following the submission of the North Wales Regional Investment Plan to UK Government in August 2022, Conwy CBC along with the other North Wales authorities is awaiting feedback from the UK Government. We are working with colleagues across the region to develop the application process and hope to begin to invite applications in the next few months.

Meanwhile, if you have any queries please email sharedprosperityfund@conwy.gov.uk
