Course aims and objectives
Level 2 teaches the signs and symbols from stages 3 & 4 of the Core Vocabulary, introducing more words and concepts to support every-day communication including the outside world, pronouns and a wider range of people, food and activities.
Participants will also learn more about how about using Makaton to support people with different needs, including adapting and personalising sign and symbol use. Learners will gain more in-depth knowledge of how the Makaton Language Programme is constructed, the research behind it, and practical applications of Makaton.
