Following this course you will:

  • Understand the role and responsibilities of the Paediatric First Aider.
  • Be able to provide first aid for an infant and a child.
  • Understand how to recognise signs and symptoms, administer emergency first aid to an infant and a child with a chronic medical condition or sudden illness.
  • Understand how to recognise signs and symptoms, administer emergency first aid to an infant and a child.


COVID 19 precautions:

  • Safely deliver CPR without the need for mouth to mouth resuscitation by using a Bag Valve Mask (BVM)
  • Safely DON up and DOFF off PPE.
  • Safe disposal of contaminated waste.
