We will be carrying out essential website maintenance in the afternoon which will affect some functionality. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience the work may cause and will do all we can to keep disruption to an absolute minimum.

ALNET Training – Part 1


Summary (optional) Understanding the Provision Map and Quality Universal Provision - This course is for settings leaders and staff members with responsibility for ALN (additional learning needs) within your setting a maximum of two per setting on each course.

The course will outline how Conwy will implement the requirements of the New Additional Learning Needs Act within the Early Years (0-3+ yrs) sector and introduce the Conwy Provision Map.

Course aims and objectives:

The sessions will be 2 hours duration online via Zoom-

 Participants will:

  • Understand the requirements of the ALNET Act and the transformation process to be implemented in Sept 2021.
  • Be aware of the Regional Provision map.
  • Understand what is meant by high quality universal Provision.
  • Consider the importance of Person Centred planning.
