Course aims and objectives

This course will be suitable for anyone working within a childcare setting, including nursery staff, cooks and play workers. We will be covering the following learning outcomes:

  • An introduction to the Eat well Guide
  • A guide to age appropriate portion sizes
  • Suitable snacks and drinks
  • A summary of the updated Welsh Government ‘Food and Nutrition for Childcare Settings, Best Practice Guidance’
The training is delivered by Public Health Dieticians working within BCUHB.
