We process personal data to deliver and manage the Pride in Place Programme for Llandudno. This includes:
- Recruiting the Independent Chair and Board Members (Conwy County Borough Council in conjunction with the Member of Parliament for Bangor Aberconwy and Chairs upon selection)
- Supporting Board governance and administration
- Contacting you regarding meetings, events, documentation, and programme updates
- Processing eligible expenses
- Ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in the programme’s operation
The Pride in Place programme is a community led regeneration programme supporting local people to help shape future investment and decision making in their neighbourhood. Llandudno is one of the areas receiving up to 10 years of UK Government investment under this programme.

Conwy County Borough Council use a variety of different systems to store and process your data, some of these are hosted internally, whereas others are hosted by 3rd party organisations on cloud based hosting within the European Economic Area (EEA)

Your personal data will be retained in line with CCBC’s corporate retention schedule for programme governance records and recruitment information. Your personal data will be held for up to seven years from closure of the Pride In Place Programme 2037.

- The local MP’s office – to support the recruitment of the Board Chair and Board Members
- The Llandudno Neighbourhood Board Chair and Vice Chair – once appointed
- Internal CCBC officers supporting the Pride in Place programme
- External auditors or Welsh or UK Government Departments if required for assurance or monitoring
- Law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law
Bank details will not be shared outside CCBC’s finance processes.
Data will not be sold or used for any other purpose.
If your personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) for any reason we will ensure that safeguards are in place to protect it to at least the same standard applied within the EEA.
